I agree w/mom and dad- you guys look great together. Max looks like he has been a part of your family for at least 2 and 1/2 years already! Amy, you look calm which is proof- all is well. What a pretty place, that park and the colorful children and the dancing restaurants. Here, it is about 7 below zero or maybe 7 above, but they feel the same. The snow has STOPPED for now, but all the schools are closed for miles around. We were out last night- bad idea- very hard to see and drive on solid snow pack w/ice and gusty snow. But I just know you're going to miss the whole thing. By the time you get in, it'll probably be breaking up. Perhaps you'll bring the spring-like weather back with you- for us to enjoy! Ken is safely in Alabama- well, I'm waiting to hear that he's landed there anyway. So anxious to see you- Friday? Esther? Hope so. Heidi and all p.s. Everyone loves the pics!!!

Good stuff, guys! You're going to have to show me how to let "anonymous" leave comments on my blog, because I haven't been able to figure it out. :(

It was 11 below in GR this morning. About 15 degrees warmer in Holland, but it was still cold enough to hurt my ungloved hands. OUCH!

OH!! Yeah, by the way... Eve is my mom's cousin (Uncle Gord's daughter). I haven't seen that side of the family for quite a few years, but I think they're all still right in the same part of town. Is that where you grew up? All I remember is that we would drive down 28th until we got to the corner by Miejer and some golf course, then we'd take a left to get to Uncle Gord's. Nice neighborhood.

Anyway, have a great rest of the trip. Glad to hear that all is going well. We'll see you soon.

God bless!!

Hey Joes,

We are loving the pictures too, and the kids are all very excited to meet their new cousin. We have all been praying for you daily, and are thrilled to hear how great things have gone. Things here in Lansing are going well for us... thankfully we didn't get nearly the amount of snow that Trumbles got slammed with in GR, but the temp today is only about 5 degrees. The kids all say hello to Esther, and we're looking forward to seeing you soon.

We are so blessed by the pictures and stories. We can't wait to hug all of you. It's very cold here, but our love will warm all of you. Max surely looks like he's been part of our family forever. We can't wait to meet him in person. We will pray for your stamina as you 're-enter'.
Esther...you're an awesome big sister. What a blessing for Max to get YOU.
Love to All of You,

Hello Amy Joe and the rest of the gang. We got your blog from Peggy. This is Lisa. We would love to have Esther come our kids birthday party on Saturday at 4:15 -please call me for details- you've got my number. It would be so cool to see all of you, and I hope that Esther would be able to come. If she is too jetlagged to come, we will understand. However, we would love to have her help us celebrate and to hear some of her stories. Blessings.
